Planning To Apply For Alimony? Learn Your Options.
Ohio divorce law defines spousal support as a payment made to a former spouse for their support and sustenance. Also known as alimony, spousal support is often the most contentious issue in a divorce and one that requires the assistance of an experienced divorce lawyer.
Cincinnati divorce lawyer John Heilbrun has over 35 years of experience helping clients determine if they, or their spouse, are entitled to receive spousal support. He can assess your situation and help you receive spousal support as part of your divorce settlement or, if necessary, fight for spousal support in a trial setting. Alternatively, John can help you avoid having to pay spousal support or lessen the amount and/or time you will be required to pay the same.
